Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Elevate My Prompt ("we", "our", "the extension") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Elevate My Prompt Chrome extension and the website at elevatemyprompt.com.

What we collect

From the extension

• The prompt text you choose to enhance. When you click the Enhance button, the draft prompt is sent to our server, then to Anthropic (the AI provider) using our key, scored and rewritten, and the result is returned to your browser. We do not log prompt content on our servers.
• Your email address. Used solely for account sign-in (one-time 6-digit code) and to count your monthly enhancement quota. Not used for marketing.
• Anonymous usage telemetry. How many enhancements you have used this month (for the quota cap). No prompt content. No browsing history. No tracking pixels.

From the website

• Standard server access logs (IP, browser, page visited, referrer). Retained 30 days. Used for security and traffic analysis only.
• No cookies for tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or any third-party advertising trackers.

From paying customers

• Subscription metadata from our payment processor (Razorpay): subscription ID, plan ID, status, period dates, customer ID. We do not receive your card number — Razorpay holds that.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not log the content of your prompts.
• We do not log the content of the AI responses.
• We do not track which chatbots you use or how often.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for marketing or advertising.

Sub-processors

We share the minimum data necessary with these service providers:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — receives the prompt text at Enhance time. Used to generate the score and rewrite. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Supabase — hosts our authentication, database, and Edge Functions. Stores your email + subscription metadata + monthly enhancement count. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Razorpay — processes payments for Premium subscriptions. Holds your card details. We never see your card number. See razorpay.com/privacy.

How long we keep data

• Email + account: until you delete your account.
• Subscription records: 7 years (for tax and accounting compliance).
• Anonymous usage counts: rolling 24 months.
• Server access logs: 30 days.
• Prompt content: never stored.

Your rights

• Access: email us to receive a copy of all data tied to your account.
• Deletion: email us to delete your account and all associated data. Subscription records are retained per the legal requirement above.
• Export: same email request — we'll send your data in JSON.
• Correction: contact us for any inaccuracies.

Children

Elevate My Prompt is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be announced inside the extension.
